Rainey Days ~ An Online Journal with My Daughter

Rainey Rainey
Dear Internet

It's me, Rainey. I know we haven't talked for a while, but it's been a little crazy around here lately. You know, potty training takes time. So does developing a mother-proof strategy for sabotaging naps. And it doesn't help that I talk now - in full, run-on and on and on sentences. Really, I don't know how my mom does it. From what I can tell, she doesn't mind, though I have caught her more than once rubbing her temples and muttering under her breath something about girls' night out.

I just wanted to assure you, dear Internet, that I'm happy, healthy, and really jazzed about ballerinas these days, in case you were interested in doing some holiday shopping. Whatever.

Anyway, I'll be in touch again soon. I'm flying to Georgia for Thanksgiving and Wisconsin for Christmas to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and whoever else has the pleasure of running into me. I'm sure we'll have plenty to discuss when I return.

P.S. I hope you enjoy this Halloween picture. My costume? I'm a feline synchronized swimmer, of course.

Meow,
Rainey
